Parents/carers are welcome to apply to enrol/transfer their child at any time during the school year using an online application form. Full details are available from the Education website.
Enrolment at Calwell Primary is guided by the Education and Training Directorate's Enrolment Policy. Parents/carers are welcome to enroll / transfer their son or daughter at any time during the school year.
Enrolment criteria
- Students living in Priority Enrolment Area (PEA) - the suburb of Calwell.
- Siblings of Calwell PS students not living in the PEA, but residing in the ACT.
- Students out of area (not in PEA) but living in the ACT.
- Siblings of Calwell PS students living in NSW - e.g. Royalla & Jerrabomberra.
- Students living in NSW.
Enrolment Procedures
ACT Residents Only
The ACT Education and Training Directorate (ETD) enrolment process for all ACT public schools is an on-line process. The online enrolment/transfer form and Parent/carer guide to enrolment/transfer for ACT public schools is located on the 'Enrolling in an ACT Public School' section of the Education and Training Directorate website.
The school will contact you to arrange a meeting when your enrolment application has been received.

NSW Residents
Information for NSW residents applying for Preschool in 2018.
All applications from NSW residents for preschool in 2018, regardless of when they are submitted in 2017, will be held by the first school listed on the application and considered in 2018. If you have any queries about this process please call the ACT Education Directorate on 6205 5429.
Information for NSW residents applying for Kindergarten to Year 6 in 2018.
